When you preach stuff like this I just love you to bits. God has put you in the right place, Kelvin. I rejoice in this sort of message coming from the cathedral of my city.

Powerful sermon, Kelvin, and wonderful singing. It caused me to remember a comparable situation when our then curate preached after the bombing of the Remembrance Day Service in Enniskillen in 1987. There was controlled anger, not least because he was there and saw it all. But God was there in the way he and his wife (a doctor) pitched in to help the wounded and dying. God was there in the love between Gordon Wilson and his daughter as he held her hand as she died. There, too, in Gordon's readiness to forgive those who had done this thing.
