I have a research seminar with the fabulous Melissa Raphael (author of the incomparable The Female Face of God in Auschwitz: A Jewish feminist theology of the Holocaust) on crucifixion in post-Holocaust Jewish Art. I'm looking forward to it immensely, but wish it was tomorrow so I could have rose petals too. Maybe next year! Alas, no rose petals for me tonight!
